Russell Raath, Kotter International

SPEAKER

Russell Raath, President, Kotter International

Russell Raath is the President of Consulting at Kotter and leads the consulting teams responsible for some of our major client engagements. He is also member of Kotter’s Senior Leadership Team.

Russell has over 20 years of experience working with clients around the world on operational and strategic challenges. His work has covered a range of subject areas, with broad projects including enterprise transformations, growth and operational excellence initiatives, and postmerger integration support. With a deep focus on the intersection of operational execution and culture within organizations, Russell has worked with the teams and leaders of some of the world’s most recognized and reputable companies.

Prior to joining Kotter, Russell spent time in the financial services industry, both as a consultant where he enjoyed a long career with Deloitte Consulting in New York, and as an employee in the Global Wealth and Investment Management business at Bank of America where he helped drive change from within Bank of America during the most recent financial and banking crisis.

Russell has been an active consultant to the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Global Initiative in New York and the Board of Trustees at The Charlotte Ballet. He also strives to have a positive impact on the world through his leadership of the Annual Leadership Summit for the Make a Difference Leadership Foundation in South Africa, founded by legendary sportsman Francois Pienaar.

He received his joint degree in commerce and laws from the University of Port Elizabeth, Nelson Mandela University in South Africa. Russell also studied at the New York Institute of Finance.

Russell was born in Zimbabwe and spent time living and working around the world before moving to the United States. He lives in New York, NY.
