SPEAKER

Joseph Grobler, Director & Global Supply Chain Expert, TransformNA

Joseph Grobler’s global experience in cross-industry supply chain management started back in the South African mining industry, in plant maintenance and engineering. About 20 years ago Joseph switched to a career in business consulting where he could live out his passion, aligning strategic business vision with technology and tactical business routines, resulting in significant service improvement and working capital reduction within the supply chain.

Joseph is a sought-after key note speaker at major EAM and supply chain conferences around the world where his experience in connecting supply chains has opened doors of opportunity for many organizations.

Faced with the growing cost of working capital and constant evolution in technology it is necessary for organizations to change the way they manage and maintain their assets.

Joseph’s presentation, “Building Connected Supply Chains”, helps to align the strategic EAM vision with the practical steps necessary to take your people and your systems on a successful journey.

SESSION

Building a Better Asset Strategy with Connected Supply Chains

Joseph Grobler, Director & Global Supply Chain Expert, TransformNA

Faced with the growing cost of working capital and constant evolution in technology it is necessary for organizations to change the way they manage and maintain their assets.

“Do we want to buy the compressor, or do we want to buy the air?” is an important question to be asked when organizations can’t afford to have the asset standing. However, depending on the asset, the answer to the question can be one or the other.

This presentation looks at the criteria which helps to make the decision and then addresses the challenges and costs in the business processes needed to support that decision.
